How ADCB Metro Station Supports Daily Commuting in Dubai

During such times as the UAE National Day, the metro may be operating later. The very first train that departs from the ADCB Station is at 5:00 AM (8:00 AM on Sunday). The last train is either at midnight or 1:00 AM.

Between 7:00-9:00 AM and 5:30-7:30 PM on weekdays, during the busy hours, the trains run every 3 to 5 minutes. Such bot are packed. At an idle phase, trains are scheduled every 6-8 minutes.

By Metro

Travel by the Red Line train only. Take the train to ADCB (R20). You need a Nol card to enter and exit. Purchase and refill your Nol card using the machine. The Nol card is swiped on all the three modes of public transport like metro, bus, and tram.

By Bus

How can I reach ADCB Metro Station by bus? ADCB is right next to Karama bus station, being one of the main stations. You can find buses here linking several neighborhoods to Dubai Marina, JBR, Al Safa, Silicon Oasis, International City, and Sharjah. Most buses use the following numbers – 21A, 21B, 28, 29, 61, 88, C10, and C26. Nol Card doubles as a travel card for both metro and bus. Free buses (“F” buses) are available between some other metro stations.

By Taxi/Ride-hail

On the ADCB end, there is a taxi stand. Hail a taxi from the taxi franchise. Uber and Careem apps are operational as usual. Pick up and drop off zone are designated. There is also a women’s taxi and one that the whole family can travel in a pink shade available.

By Car

It is not easy to go to ADCB by car because there is a great deal of traffic. The better options are to use Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road or Al Khaleej Road. You can park at Al Attar mall or on the street. The device is activated and the setup is done, now you can use your Nol card for tolls.

By Foot

As you should move from Al Karama, Al Mankhool, and Satwa to ADCB you can walk, which is a very short distance. It is only 1-1.5 km far from you. Also, the bridges and lights are at the stations.

Nol Card

You have to buy the Nol card to get to the metro. You can top-up at the metro station or through the app. Silver Nol is the cheapest ticket and therefore, it is good for the travel of the whole Zone 6.
