Capital Park Abu Dhabi is a green park with a big size. It is situated in the city centre in Abu Dhabi. It has a number of water fountains. Families and people who like to exercise come here to enjoy nature in the city. Besides, it has big grassy areas on the ground for sports like walking on the road, running, and biking. 

Where is Capital Park?

The park is located on the first street, giving Khalifa Bin Zayed Avenue in the core of Abu Dhabi city. It is not hard to locate, as it’s nearly in the center of the city, surrounding the Corniche Hotel. Other important streets, such as Hamdan Street, are also close to it.

There, you can all get out of the park by a variety of means. Buses stop right at the park entrance at the capital station. Taxis can drop you at the main gate. The first thing to notice if you live near the beach is that you can easily reach the park walking in not more than 15 minutes.

It is possible to park near the park, although with congestion on weekends, parking lots may easily be filled. Some people leave their car parked and prefer getting on the bus since it is very convenient.

Opening Hours

Capital Park does not close. It is open all week long from morning (8:00) to night (11:00), the night being the coolest time as the lights of the park are on. Families obtain a ticket and can stay till the park is closed at eleven o’clock at night.

No entry for the youngsters (0-10 years old). The adults also do not pay the full price as they just pay 1 Dirham to the park, which goes to the cleaning of the entire park.

Places Near Capital Park Abu Dhabi

Extremely beautiful is the first Abu Dhabi Corniche, which is close to the park, right at the walkway. You can enjoy it at the beach, bike path.

Khalifa Park is much closer to. It has a large green area, a fish tank, and a huge tower. You can see the entire city from here. Yes, some things are not free of charge, and you need the tickets.

The UAE National Park is the biggest of all three parks. It has funny animals, flowers, etc. Some little ones want to stay home with their parents, while others can’t quit screaming for the animals.

Capital Park History

The realization of the idea of Capital Park Abu Dhabi came into existence in 1976. It was a restricted city during that period. An infant park was also opened.

Along with sunscreen, drinks, and snacks bring also your own. For walking, wear shoes that are light and ease your feet.
